A Local Scene

A terrible wet and windy day - I didn't set foot outside the door.  I organised some Todmorden photographs for a forthcoming booklet then settled down to enjoy one of the books Santa brought me.  Alan Fearnley is a very talented Railway Artist and I was enjoying his work when I came upon this painting of Lydgate Viaduct. A remarkable painting, not least because it is the view from where Mrs MD lived before we got married.
