First Breath

There's currently an art installation in Manchester called "First Breath", consisting of a huge column of light that gently pulses to represent every time a baby is born in Greater Manchester (or something along those lines)

I can actually see it from my flat, but my flat mate and I had a wander to go see it up close tonight and it is actually pretty spectacular, especially in the rain. I recommend it if you're in the Manchester area this month, as it's set to finish at the end of January I believe.
