Watcher of the skies

To Lausanne this afternoon because Liz had rdv with eye doc.
I wandered around the town in the rain looking for inspiration. This is pic of the Bel-Air tower. It was constructed in 1931 and was the first skyscraper in Switzerland.
It seems that it was not much appreciated when it was built, both by the Protestants because it was taller than the cathedral, and others who saw the inspiration from Wall Street and the crash 2 years before.
