Brief dry spell.

But the wind was very chilly. 
However, we faced the elements and managed to escape a soaking. 
This afternoon we picked up Miss E from school, took her home and had a chat with Ali. 
Still no sign of any let up in this cold wet spell but I hear of other places getting it much worse so no point in moaning.
