Two Much Two Young!

It's that day of the year where I say, this wee boy has been with us 2 years now! 

In 2020 it was snowing and he learned to love snow. In 2021 we celebrated and reflected on the first year and how far we'd come, but this past year, sheesh, has been a switcheroo for us! 

I guess we've learned so much more about border collies and how to deal with their different traits and he is more relaxed more of the time. It's an ongoing journey, but at least we have a path to success now, which wasn't clear last year. 

Every day we see little improvements and I am particularly happy with where he is with the kittens given he often tries to herd them or sniff every possible scent from them. And Pippin, who was the most apprehensive, is now the most confident with him, it's fascinating to see them touch noses and Pippin rubs his body on Arlo's legs. Maybe it's because Pippin is prepared to swipe him away now unlike Merry who just lets him sniff to his nose's content!

Hmmm... I've blethered on far more than I intended to... It's been a great year with him, his cheeky happy face is cheekier and happier than it was last year, and I can't wait until the lighter evenings come. We love ya boy!
