Mother of Thousands

This is my new succulent. It has a long Latin name but it’s also know as a Mother of Thousands. That’s because little plants grow around its leaves. I used to have one as a child.

My interest in succulents as an adult started when I bought some from IKEA when I revamped my kitchen. Now they are in at least five rooms in the house. They’ve all been watered over the last few days by sitting in some water for a few hours. They don’t get watered like that often.

I highly recommend them as they are easy to look after.
