Clematis Seed Heads

This  clematis is sometimes called Old Man’s Beard ……. a very apt name.

Chilly this morning but it was so good to have some sunshine and a blue sky.

L and I headed out to the West End to have coffee and a catch-up with our younger niece. We even had time for a walk in the Botanic Gardens before heading home on the subway.
