St Laurence's Church

The skyline of Ludlow town is dominated immediately by the 48 metre high tower of St Laurence's Church, and distantly by the looming ridge of Titterstone Clee  (not shown here). I had reasonably good light this afternoon and this was one of the many shots I took before the sun dipped below the horizon.  I took a bit of a risk as I only took my old D200 out with me and I am aware of it's limitations but the modern lens saved the day. The light was ok but contrasty with deep shadows and a warm cast.  I made some slight adjustments to the RAW file in photoshop.

This morning I had a fine walk out with Hollie dog whilst Mrs I made some adjustments to the new lounge curtains.

Everyone happy.

Which was nice.
