This is the Yeoman Bontrup being loaded with stone, it takes around 87,000 tonnes and takes a week to load. You cannot see the quarry in this shot just the loading bay and the piles of graded stone waiting to go out. The actual quarry is up above on the mountain.

Sorry I have no quarry shots this time because I was working away from where the quarrying activity takes place. I am sure I will blip some over the summer.

It was wet and cold with sharp hailstone showers for much of the time, not the May weather I was looking forward to. This was taken in a rare blink of sunshine but I like the clouds and the colours and it gives some scale to the operations at this quarry
