Just waiting

The main square in the town where I live.
The statue of the man sitting on the bench commemorates a neighbour from this town, Francisco Lucilo Carvajal Narváez, who emigrated to Puerto Rico and made a lot of money there. When he got older, he decided to help people in his town and founded some institutions to help with young people education.
The town council decided to pay tribute to his generosity by having this statue made and they placed him in the centre of his town.
