The first of the women's races kicked off today from Glenelg, so I downed tools to watch them as they paraded down Jetty Road. The race proper doesn't start until they turn off Jetty Road, as there are tram tracks, as you can see. So much kerfuffle this morning for 30 seconds of action. It was a busy day. On a park on the other side of Glenelg there was a concourse for rev-heads. So ladies on pushbikes on one side, and blokes with street machines on the other.
