Snow on the way

I had a great zoom meeting last night with the Professor of holy wells  in Tennessee - once we got going for there seemed to be cyclones and all sorts happening there and we had gales so the internet was a bit dodgy. Lots to catch up on and she has kindly agreed to do the foreword for my book. She's also made some useful suggestions as she has a lot of experience with this kind of thing. She is in the last stages of compiling a book on wells with 30 contributors, mainly academic but scattered with a few community contributors, and I'm one! She showed me her cover and blurb, and it looks fantastic, hopefully out in the summer.

The arctic snap as promised is on its way - snow on the hills on the Beara and the customs and excise boat is sheltering Bantry Bay. A useful and sort of leisurely day.
