After days and days of incessant rain, the sky cleared this morning and the clouds gave way to some winter sunshine.

With total disregard to the water meter, I spent three hours power washing the driveway (see extra). It's amazing how much dirt had built up during the hose pipe ban. 

This afternoon we managed a 5 km walk up to Norland Moor and back. The  main photo shows the 561 bus passing us on it's circular route - Halifax - Copley - Ripponden -  Norland - Barkiskland - Greetland - Halifax.
