Only one photo

I only took one photo today so it has to be my blip.
I have just finished Christmas at Claridges by Karen Swan and thought I'd stay with the author and another of her Christmas novels.
She really is a good writer.
Got the washing out today but had to run to bring it in when it rained. Is there ever a day when it doesn't rain?
Caching trip tomorrow.
Terry got a phone call late afternoon to tell him someone was trying to kick in the door of his shop at 5am today. It woke one of the people in the flats above the shop and the resident (Paul) went out to clear the scumbag off. Terry has been to assess the damage and there wasn't much - it's a solid old door - he has strengthened it more. I don't know what they thought they might find in the shop that would be of use to them. He doesn't leave money there. The machinery is too heavy to move. He has a cheap, several years old microwave and a cheap, old electric kettle. some of the machinery is highly dangerous ie sharper than sharp as he cuts picture frame and glass. There are no valuable paintings in there  and I doubt they would have been looking for anything like that - perhaps just something to sell for a quick fix. When Paul told him to clear off (a bit stronger language than that mind), he said "It's nothing to do with you!" He had been doing running jumps at the door. He did leave though when Paul told him he lives there.
