New easel....

Spent most of the day in the studio....when it is +2 outside the studio isn't too difficult to get up to a comfortable state in an hour!   My new easel is awesome...i can stand comfortably at it, or sit - and it is just so much more stable.

Noodled about with some paint and started experimenting with the tissue collage papers i've made!   Did a few tests, putting the collage piece on a dry substrate....then adding paint.   Also, just adding some pieces to a painting midway thro, ie. wet paint!   we'll see tomorrow what that all means.

In the extra is a shot of an old painting that was going nowhere about a year ago...so i covered the whole piece with a tissue image!   again, it's a wait and see sort of thing. i'll have a better idea tomorrow how things held!

Very blustery day, but i was just so happy in the studio painting, dancing and being challenged on a creative level.
