Flakes of snow.

We rarely get snow in Sunderland.  I live half a mile from the sea (you can see the sea from my upstairs windows) and the influence of the sea temperature means just a few miles away the weather is much colder. 
Today we have the biggest floatiest flakes of snow I have ever seen. You can easily see the individual snowflakes with the naked eye. It is quite striking.
