Hetty enjoyed the opportunity to splash around Silbury this morning.

She also caught an unfortunate creature. Maybe a vole or a mouse. I saw her chasing it before it jumped into water and shot like a rocket upstream but she caught it again! Poor thing. By the time we rescued it from her jaw, it had died.

We should have saved the walk for this afternoon because it is glorious!
