Howgills

More snow capped fells.

But these are the Howgill Fells. As seen from Arnside Promenade.
Yesterday’s shot was looking north across the Estuary.
Now we are looking more to the east.

In the foreground you can see Arnside’s stone pier flying the Ukranian flag.

Another gorgeous winter day. Certainly colder.  This was taken on the way to the Opticians.
The eye tests are free for us oldies but new lenses and frames for both of us will amount to several hundred pounds. But anything which helps to maintain our vision is well worth it.
