Descending..

…from the mountains, returning home, on a hazy and chilly day without any blue sky but a far-reaching view to the Sierra de las Nieves mountains.  This is one of my favourite hiking tracks with the trees in the distance standing tall and bare and olives and wheat fields as far as the eye can see. 

The weather is turning dramatically with snow forecast for most of northern Spain and heavy rain everywhere. We are due to sail from Santander back to England on Wednesday so will have to say goodbye to the goats tomorrow and get packing.
