Goddess of the fatballs

When we lived up in Sutherland, Mrs Oons was known among the bird population as Goddess of the Fatballs (not to mention seeds, nuts and mealworms). It's how we came to have woodpeckers, pheasants, the one-legged pigeon and a vertical-take-off-woodcock routinely at the kitchen window.

When we came to Cromarty, the avian consenaus was "oh good, they said you were coming!" This morning, ultra cold, the queue was extra disorderly. And it stayed all day.
