Blipmeet

We went up to the Botanics to meet up with blipper annejohn as she'd suggested a recurring (monthly) blipmeet there. It was a beautiful day if rather perishing cold, so we kept moving. Lots of tree work going on, and D saw quite a few birds for his list. This was my favourite sight, a venerable Betula pendula, who apparently had won some prize for having the largest girth of a birch tree. What a beautiful creature.

Marking in the afternoon - dirty work, but somebody's got to do it, etc etc.
