Acts of deliberate notice

Frozen

A cold day here - my car showed -3.5 when I got in this morning and it was iced up on the inside as well as the outside.

I walked down to the local garden centre on my lunchbreak and picked up a 12 kg bag of birdseed to feed our cold and hungry feathered friends. I had anticipated something a little smaller and realised I then had to walk back, up the hill, carrying this bag. But I managed it and felt very strong doing so, especially when my male companion didn't feel the need to demand he carry it for me. (Well, he did, but he tried not to say so!)
