Pink Dogwood

The sun came out rather briefly this afternoon, and fortunately I was on a blip walk nearby in search of flowers. This is a small portion of one of two large pink dogwoods not far from us; they are around their marvelous peak.

Last night with its wonderful show was late (see comment here), and we had appointments in the morning, so we did not go out for birds. We expect to resume tomorrow.
