'Death in the......

.....Afternoon" - with apologies to Ernest Hemingway!  We reckoned that this was cut down in it's prime!!  Well, slightly past it's prime now and in some ways I will miss its brooding presence outside the kitchen window.  It has always been there to provide a great rusty blip in an emergency. I shall have to search a bit more carefully around the place now......!  At one point R thought it was getting a bit warm around his knee - seems he was setting fire to himself (see extra).  A cold day with lots of sleet, hail & rain showers.  I cleaned one of the fridges - it needed it!
