Best of the Day

This is the Chamonix valley taken from up on Le Tour. It has been a challenging day - character building one might argue. I have done plenty of emergency snow ploughing and ditto poling, both things that long ago I vowed never to do again. But needs must. However we got down without serious incident. I now have muscles that I never knew I had. who knows what they will be like in the morning?! i will update you.
