Icy

The plan was to park at A House and walk through the woods and round to Abbots wood.
It was sunny  but when we got to the end of our street we realised how icy the roads were and were the sun hadnt reached the pavements they  were white with yesterdays snow.

When we reached A House we were amazed to see the car park was completely  full , even the overflow one so we drove out again. ( conference?)

I found somewhere to park on the main road and we set off to walk down to the Abbey but the pavements were white and though my boots were non slip we had to walk carefully . Fletch slipped once so we decided to turn back and walk another way. We followed the sunniest path along Rating Lane and we managed a walk along there.

We called at 'mini Tesco' on the way back and the sunlight catching the tree caught my eye. No foliage but the branches looked an Autumnal gold .  So that's the blip.

Back home I decided to 'prune' my photo album. The plan was to remove a lot but most sparked a good memories even if photographically they were quite ordinary so they stayed. Just as well I've plenty of storage space!
