Today’s outing

Today we were ready at the dock at ten to seven ready to board the Friendship Rose sailing boat on a day cruise trip. We went to the Tobago Keys which took 3 hours each way arriving back at 5pm. The idea was to go snorkelling on the reef but when we arrived it was rather windy so we chickened out and left it to the stronger swimmers. There were about 20 of us altogether and people said it was a difficult swim. Back on board we had a lovely lunch prepared by the chef. We had been given breakfast earlier and there was afternoon tea. The young captain and four crew looked after us very well. I managed to catch the brown booby bird between the sails as they were accompanying us on our return journey and the iguana was one of two located on the island, An excellent day out,
