After his non-appearance yesterday the heron was encamped on 'my' side of the stream this morning.....he allowed me to get quite close before elegantly striding across the weir to the other side!

Please can someone remind the weather that it's the middle of May....only 5 degrees here....my hands were so cold holding the camera!
