Do we kill the fire?

A question many tourists ask when they first come here.
And the answer is "No.". We leave it burning, in case someone else comes, so they already have a some hot coals.

Today I went to free the kota from a lot of kilos of ice and compacted snow. And from a fare I saw this glowing through the "door".
A truly heart-warming sight.
