Water of Leith....

...visitor centre. I took the Brompton bike with me on the no 36 bus in order to give it to the WoL crew - think it'll be a lot more useful to them than to me. I even managed to demonstrate how to unfold it and fold it up again, after a couple of false starts.

It's quite a long bus ride, scenic in parts - was going to take a pic of the snowy Pentlands until I discovered I'd left the camera at home. So it had to be a generic shot of the visitor centre with the aqueduct that carries the canal. I guess the more distant bridge must be a viaduct - railway?

Back home to the marking, and a fresh crop of students for the February module. Onwards (if not necessarily upwards).
