Babbling Brooks

Most of the day was dark, but the sun came out in the afternoon and the mercury rose to 60 degrees.  A snow storm is forecast for tonight.  I can only hope they're right.

Over to Holbrook Hollows for a walk.  A slow one for me (still recovering from Tuesday's jaunt) and a fast, hill-climber for Mr. Mole.  Water from snow melt was gurgling in often dry stream beds  throughout the park under a beautiful blue sky.  It felt like a Spring day.

Extra:  The horses, donkeys, and ponies were out in the pasture under the pylons.   Bluebirds flitted about in the woods, visiting various streams that we rarely see.   Who said bluebirds only fly in open meadows?
