Ice and reflections

I was going for a walk along the canal this morning as the sun was shining. When I was ready to go out I spotted that the workmen in my street were digging up the road so I couldn't get the car out. They're very obliging and would have moved their equipment but I didn't want to bother them so I went for a walk around the village instead.

The floods on the castle field are frozen (extra) and there was lots of iceon the pavements and sround the castle.  

The pool at the back of the castle catches the sun so there was just this disc of ice in  the water.  I also liked the abstract type reflections around it.
