New visitor

A cousin asked me the other day if I had seen a Scarlet Crowned Kinglet. She lives about 1.5 miles away and she has them. Well Guess what!! We do too!! This is apparently a female because there is no crown. Now we are waiting on the little male! :—) I think getting excited about new birds is a sign of aging. :—)
We cooked for family last night. Chili and Mac and cheese. They had barely left the drive way when, as I started down stairs, my right knee buckled without warning and my right eyebrow broke my fall. Not very well. I have about a 1 inch gash and an impressive shiner! Got to make up a good story… :—) I’m ok. I just look like I lost a fight with a concrete floor.
