Common Lizard ....... sunbathing

Holiday Day #4

Today we went to Captain's Wood. It is a lovely place to walk around. As well as seeing this Common Lizard ...... the first time for me ...... we also saw/heard lots of birds , squirrels & were followed round by a Green Woodpecker ...... we didn't actually manage to see him ..... but his laughter followed us the whole time we were there!!!!

Later that evening ..... back at the lodge ....... I heard a Nightingale singing ...... another first for me ....... it was a really good day!
