Life in Newburgh on Ythan

By Talpa

A blast from the past

Echoes of bad tmes. The broken lumps of concrete lying on the beach are the remains of anti-tank traps blown up at the end of WW2. The lump of wood, looking to my eye like a prehistoric reptile, is part of the remains of a wrecked wooden trawler.

Extra. On a much happier note, the youngest Talpid photographed on Aberdeen beach by her dad. One for the family album!
