Pat is busy with her papier-mâché sculptures. It is far too cold to work on the stones outside. The current project is some birds on a branch.

Today we ventured into The Policies so she could select a suitable branch from the fallen branches living around.

She selected three suitable candidates and I sawed off the parts deemed irrelevant.

And the baby beech tree in today’s Blipfoto? It is a volunteer that has emerged in just the correct position to thrive.
