Down to Mintlaw to see a group in the village hall.
I was half expecting them to be doing “hand across the ear” type of traditional folk music which I’m not a big fan of, but I was very wrong.
Seven of them altogether, the keyboard player was kind of hidden, and they were brilliant. Such a variety of music.
Everything from “Land of a thousand dances” to “Moon River” to “ I Saw her standing there” to “Wild Mountain Thyme” and everything in between.
They were so, so lgood
