It was a day for Peter Drew’s 2023 Aussie posters. This one in Newtown, a set of four in Renwick Street, Redfern and another next to one of Blak Douglas’s murals in a Redfern laneway.

Like Will Coles’ concrete art, Peter Drew’s posters are not officially condoned. He’s been caught three times and fined, and now wears hi-vis when he’s working. 

I missed all the Lunar New Year festivities in South Eveleigh, except Jenny Lee’s installation (extra).
