Carlisle Cathedral

R wanted to pick up something that she had bought on line in Carlisle so we went down today. Not a very nice day but no rain but a bit misty. We visited the Castle (extra) and the Cathedral. We didn't go into the castle as it was £12 a head and including Magnus would have been £40 so we thought that was too dear. We had some lunch in the Cathedral  cafe and then a visit into the cathedral. Beautiful stained glass windows and carvings.  We then headed for home . A.most enjoyable day.
