Building

It was cold today. So cold the heating kept kicking in even with the thermostat turned down.  I sorted the insurance for the new car and we decided to go out for a little walk and coffee. We ended up at the 'alternative' bar/coffee shop, Paradiddles Cafe near The Commandery. A very interesting place that doubles up as a rehearsal room for bands. It has a small outside area, though we stayed inside as it was warmer. The coffee was very good and there was a nice vibe in the place. We'll definitely be going there again.

Later Emma came round with Andy and, of course, Raffy. He had a good play with his toys on the floor with Ann (Raffy, not Andy!).  I popped out to the car with Andy to try and get my phone to talk to the car. Technology, you have to love it! The car wanted to connect to a Bluetooth device, Bedroom TV. Not ours, somewhere in one of the distant flats I suspect!  Finally we got the two talking to each other.

As we were walking home from the cafe I took a photo of this building with the unusual horseshoe entry.   It has been empty ever since we moved here, and probably a long while before that. So not quite derelict , but heading that way. Thanks to Marlieske for hosting this week's Derelict Sunday
