Let there be light!

We ate in Lobstar in Monkstown tonight. It's a while since we'd been there, but it was a bit of special occasion and it seemed to be as good an excuse as any to go back there. It's tiny, and specialised in seafood (especially lobster as the name suggests). The lighting was a but underdone, though, and we both had to switch on the torch on our phones to read the menu. The food was good, the atmosphere was fine and the staff were really good. I has Saffron Prawns and Chicken Schnitzel (I know, definitely not seafood …). Carl chose Burrata Di Bufala (a large globe of mozzarella in a delicious apple-based sauce) and Tiger Prawns, Mussels and Pak Choi Curry.

We had beverages before and after in the adjacent Goggins pub. This was our first time experiencing the new midnight closing time. We would have expected more customers on a Saturday night, but perhaps there'd been a clearing-out to rush for public transport. We got a taxi there and back. We opted for taxis there and back. It was a good night.
