MonoMonday 470....Looking up

...and that's what this kookaburra was doing. Well, it was flying in an upwards direction. 
I had been watching this bird and its partner for ages. Saffie was sitting next to me doing her "gentle" growl. I was hoping to catch one or both birds flying down for a lizard or something. Nope. Looking up or down? Nope. 
This was all I managed before I had to decide to cook a meal for himself (and me)
Another hot day up until about 5pm when the breeze arrived. Oh - and there was a fire about 500 metres from us this afternoon but it was extinguished rapidly. I only know it happened because I saw it on the local fire watch website....
