Surprise

60th birthday and a birthday run with Luna ahead of us travelling down to Brighton. Lots of complex arrangements by C meant that her friend would appear to dogsit Luna while we could go to see the Delgados on the first gig of their comeback tour.

Only it wasn’t her friend who turned up - it was H and M and my mum!

A well-engineered surprise! I was so happy!

And M would accompany me to the gig. In the event, H came along as well and we managed to get another ticket at the venue.

Great concert. The kids knew quite a lot of the songs from my playing of them in the 2000s!
