Shopping Expedition

As part of our Monday shop - I have Mondays off at the moment and it makes sense to go shopping on the day when no one else does - there was a short diversion to an Asian Supermarket which was jolly good fun.  I wanted a Miso soup mix for tonight's dinner plus I also got lots of noodles and some spices.  Sadly none of my Indian snacks but I have a place where I can find them.

There was no way I was going to pass up on Volcano Chicken Noodles though.  Saw the packet and that was the decision made.  I will report back.  If they are any good, they will become my back up dinner choice.

I have all the ingredients now for dinner tonight.  A sort of homage to ramen but done my way (there will be no roasting bones for 24 hours for a start)  True, it will lack the depth of flavour of a real ramen but I'll produce a bowl of tastiness in less than 2 hours.
