A Remote Outlook

This is our second visit to St Thomas Becket church on Romney Marsh. It is not the easiest place to get to. The roads are single track and it is almost guaranteed to meet a tractor coming the other way (we did). There are no roads or paths to the church so you just have to park as close as you can and be prepared to walk deep into a field of sheep and boggy grass. Oh, and watch out for the sheep poo (Jak rather liked the flavour).

Fortunately there are several little bridges over the numerous little rivers that cut through the field.

We had expected beautiful white fields of heavy frost. We certainly set out with plenty around. But unbelievably the weather suddenly got milder as we drove and we arrived in grey drizzle. Still at least the reflections were good.
