Joan’s blips

An unwanted visitor

My neighbour’s unexpected and unwanted visitor. It is a harmless green tree snake (dendrelaphis punctulatus) but that didn’t cause her to want it to stay. Three of us just stood watching it move through her garden and onto her verandah lattice. It seemed to be looking for a better place to be. One of the maintenance men will catch it and take it to local bush land. It is only my second snake find in three years at the retirement village.

If you don’t bother them, they won’t bother you, however I don’t think the snake would enjoy garden watering time or the human enjoy a sudden snake meeting during weeding time.
