Canoe Trip

Day 1: Neptunes staircase to Loch Lochy (about 14 miles). A placid start along the river part of the Caledonian Canal was a perfect warm up and chance to practice our tecnique for the more interesting voyage along Loch Lochy. Waves were a couple of feet at worst but the wind was behind us. Camped for the night on a shingle beach near Leterfinlay Lodge hotel. Champions League final tonight then an early start for day two.
