Ferrule

Oh the joy of a quick and easy solution to one of life’s little problems. My trusty walking stick lost its rubber end but luckily I wasn’t far from a very well stocked hardware shop, the owner must have a very efficient memory as he can put his hand on anything you ask for. Very satisfying 
The ferrule was slightly too big, but 2 rubber bands round the end, resulted in a tight grip.
