Bullrushes

Went down to the village pond this morning as it looks as if the cold snap is coming to an end. The pond is frozen over and unlike when we were children no one had  been on it or even broken the edges. Took several pictures and as it was cloudy and not much colour I did try them in mono but liked this one with a little colour.
Late morning we went to the dentist for a check up and both ok, we then went into town for some windscreen wash and a couple of other bits.
We went to another garden centre for lunch. We have been there quite a few times in the past but the last few they weren't that good. They are under new management and have much improved, we will go again.
Went for a walk when we got home.
BIL still in hospital but may well go home tomorrow.
Cloudy and cold it did just get above freezing but the outlook is a little warmer
