'The Rights of Woman'

On this day to remember Robert (Rabbie) Burns, who was born in 1759 on 25 January, a quote of a verse of one of his many poems. Even in 2023 women all over the world still have to fight for their rights, as the world's biggest discrimination, the discrimination of half of mankind, is still so very strong in all aspects of life and even fiercely fought for acquired rights are being attacked from many sides. Of course Robert Burns, as a man of his time, was not talking about full equality, but of protection, caution and admiration, but hey, at least he realised there might be something amiss.

If you're celebrating Burns Night have a great one :-)

Thanks very much for the kind comments and stars for yesterday's celebratory 4 tea light hearts for Tiny Tuesday
